How does the locum process work?
You can book locum dental staff for any time in the future for long or short term cover. We can also take ‘on the day’ bookings for when unexpected cover is required.
As a dental nurse agency, we always look to build long-term commercial relationships with dental practices across the UK. By getting in touch with us, we will get to work on finding the right staff members for your cover whenever you need them.
We answer calls from 6.30am – 22:00pm every day of the week, including bank holidays, so it’s important that locum staff give clear details of their availability in advance.
Qualified and experienced dental nurse cover
All of our locum staff are fully CQC compliant with the current GDC registration, annual DBS check, insurance and reference checks.
We have provided replacement dental staff to NHS practices, along with specialist referral practices, local NHS dental services, the MOD and many hospitals. Our skilled team of locum dental nurses cover the entirety of the UK, including Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex, Bristol, Lincolnshire, Cheshire, London and beyond.
High quality staff and great customer service
We’re very proud of our network of locum dental staff across the UK, and although this is what many dental practices come to expect, we combine this with attentive customer service too.
Along with our amazing customer services team, we’ve also produced an extremely simple locum process to make the process even easier for our customers!

After staff are booked
Once booked, locum staff are expected to arrive with their Cavity uniform and name badge (both provided). At the end of the working day, dental locum staff should get a timesheet signed so the dental practice or healthcare provider can be billed for the time given.
